About Us
A family-run guide for Palm Beach County families navigating healthcare, Medicare, and care at home.

Who We Are
A Trusted Guide Through the Healthcare Maze
Healthcare can feel overwhelming — confusing paperwork, endless phone calls, and decisions that feel too important to get wrong. That’s where we come in.
Compassionate Care Navigation is a family-run service based in Palm Beach County. We help families coordinate appointments, understand Medicare benefits, find the right resources, and arrange transportation — so you can spend less time on hold and more time with the people you care about.
We’re not doctors, nurses, or insurance agents. We’re your personal guide through the system: we listen, explain your options in plain language, and handle the coordination you don’t have time for.
The service is led by Sam Deravine, Director, with support from Maxim Deravine. When you call, you talk to us directly — not a call center.
Our Mission
What Guides Our Work
Our mission is to make the healthcare system easier to navigate for Palm Beach County families — with patient, practical, non-medical help that puts your family’s needs first.
Compassion
We treat every family with patience and respect. Caring for a loved one is hard, and no question is too small.
Clarity
We explain things in plain language and put our services, fees, and terms in writing before any work begins.
Advocacy
We stay in your corner — following up on calls, keeping track of details, and making sure your questions get answered.
Trust
We’re honest about what we do and don’t do. When something needs a doctor, lawyer, or licensed agent, we say so and point you to the right place.
What We Do
Two Ways We Help
Non-Medical Healthcare & Medicare Navigation
For families and individuals navigating the healthcare system
We help you get organized and get answers, so care decisions feel manageable.
- Coordinating medical appointments
- Understanding and using your Medicare and insurance benefits
- Finding local healthcare resources
- Arranging transportation to appointments
Healthcare Recruitment Support
For healthcare professionals and the employers who want to meet them
Compassionate Care Navigation helps qualifying healthcare professionals connect with employment opportunities throughout Palm Beach County and surrounding South Florida communities. We assist home health aides (HHA), certified nursing assistants (CNAs), licensed practical nurses (LPNs), and registered nurses (RNs) in preparing for employment and connecting with potential employers. Our role is to facilitate professional introductions and recruitment support. We do not directly employ or supervise healthcare workers or provide clinical staffing services.
- Home Health Aides (HHA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)
- Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) and Registered Nurses (RN)
- Fees are paid by the hiring organization — never by the healthcare professional
- Employers make every hiring decision and interview, hire, pay, and supervise directly
